Hey marketing partner! Kevin Smith here with MagCast. I'm one of the principals of MagCast and co-creator of "The Ultimate Content Formula". Rather than starting off with the usual "get to know you" bit, let's instead start with the bits you're really here for, so let's get to it.

Is MagCast a Good Program to Promote?
A loud and thunderous, "Yes!"
Here's why:
Is this a good match for my tribe?
Almost definitely.
Here's why:
Magazines have this sort of magical fairy dust about them. It's not a book. It's not a TV show. It's not a radio program or podcast. It's not a social media channel.
It's a magazine.
Magazines are king makers (or queen makers as it were.)
Magazines bestow "Top 10" titles onto people and products.
People and companies pay thousands just for a "tear sheet" from a magazine they're featured in.
People frame magazine covers and articles and hang them on their walls.
You can't frame a YouTube mention or product review.
Playing into this notion of what magazines are, just think about how many movies and TV shows take place in magazines or where their characters work in magazines.
It's this mythos of what a magazine is that we teach our members how to use to their benefit. Rather than playing the role of the "starving intern" in the movie, they learn how to be a magazine owner and publisher in the industry's one and ONLY live magazine publishing workshops that we call "The MagCast Academy."
Now, don't let the name fool you... where most internet "academies" are little more than "go here and watch these videos", the MagCast Academy sessions are LIVE sessions with instructors who are actually in the magazine publishing business.
Students learn from people who're IN THE BUSINESS in live Zoom-based sessions AND they get one-on-one time with the instructors, who help customize a plan for the student's magazine that plays to the student's strengths, goals, and content.
So, as to the question of: "Is this a good match for MY tribe," let's answer it this way:
If you want to bring something to your tribe that can help them truly "level up" all while complementing the things you—and they—are already doing, MagCast is an ideal match.
That said, are there niches where magazine publishing just doesn't make sense?
If your tribe is focused on "transactional" products or services like mosquito bite treatment, auto insurance, or sewer cleaning, those are places where magazines don't make sense.
The consumers' bites stop itching, they get coverage, or their drain starts flowing again, and they move on.
Thus, it's hard to build a magazine around these kinds of one-and-done transactional relationships.
If on the other hand your tribe has more depth and breadth in their niches, magazines are a great match.
Oh, and one more all-important thing: your tribe DOES NOT NEED to have content themselves. In fact, it actually works better in some ways if they have very little content! How and why, we cover in the webinar (and in much greater detail in the Academy). Sorry... no sneak peek for you here. ;-)
So, armed with how to do this, how to use the magazine mythos, and the rest of our MagCast Academy material—not to mention our kick-ass platform, they go forth armed with the right know-how.
I mean, new publishers (and I mean BRAND NEW people) every month go from feeling like, "Um. Hi. Now what?" to "Yes, I am a magazine publisher."
And they mean it.
All this means, you can be confident that aligning yourself with the MagCast platform will be something that's a good match that you can be proud of endorsing.
What's the commission?
The short version: affiliate commissions per sale range between $997 and $1,127 per unit.
The longer version:
The sticker price is $2,997. Your cut is $997. If someone chooses to pay month to month or quarterly, we apply the same percentage (~33.26%) to every payment, so you make more.
As for the commission range, here's why there's variance:
Thus, when someone opts for a multi-pay, we share that revenue with you... it just takes a bit longer to get to us all.
Commissions are paid Net-45 from the close of a calendar month. This gives us time to let the dust settle and honor refunds (of which there are few).
Typically, it ends up being more like a Net-32, but we say Net-45 just so it's easy for everyone to understand.
Payments are made via PayPal or Wise. PayPal is faster; Wise is cheaper. Which you choose is up to you.
Now for the "Who are You?" Part
For starters, I've been a "super affiliate" more than once. I know what it's like to be on both sides of the conversation.
In my most recent foray as a "super affiliate", it was for a fairly major software brand, where we contributed well north of eight figures to their bottom line.
This relationship happened in part because I had tremendous faith in their product, and because I could reach them.
Knowing we had more to offer than the garden variety affiliate, I picked up the phone and called them.
In under a minute I was on the phone with their affiliate manager; within 10 I was on the phone with one of the company founders.
Point being, there were real people there who listened, made decisions, and led from the front.
That's how we do things, too.
So, with that in mind, I'd like to invite you to call me anytime: +1.310.421.4570 (PST)
(After thought... It seems obvious in retrospect that having that same attitude has played a role in us being in the same industry for 10 years when most SaaS platforms don't even make it 10 months.)
